Surf the Dream A discourse of links and articles from Justin Avery

Stranger Things : Life

A new form of life has been found some 7,900 feet below the Earth’s surface in a mine 350 miles north of Toronto, Canada.

(see original article)

This life exists without sunlight, doesn’t breathe Oxygen, and feeds on Pyrite (Fools Gold). If this isn’t something out of Science Fiction Movies I don’t know what is….

This discovery has changed the way in which we understand the conditions under which life can survive and evolve.

When I read articles like this and watch documentaries like “Goodbye Cassini Hello Saturn” it leads me to believe that finding signs of life outside of Earth is becoming more and more likely within my own lifetime.
