A few friends of mine are opening a set of studios in SE1. I spent the weekend snowboarding with the owners and the guys running the studios and they’re all very sound and talented peoples.
About Studio 180
The Studio
Studio 180 is a converted Georgian terrace containing five unique artists studios. Ideally situated in central London (SE1) it is close to transport links and the nearby cultural hub of Southbank. Each studio has been purposefully tailored, drawing on both the original features of the building and intimate nature of the space. It also benefits from being partnered with Make Space Studios, an already established and vibrant art community within walking distance.
The intention behind 180 was to create an intimate working environment that inspires resident artists to explore and develop their practice. The building hosts a playful domesticity and unique layout that invites both potential collaboration and support network from fellow artists.
Each studio has its own unique charm. Throughout the terrace original Georgian features have been exposed which include cast iron fire places, timber dividing walls, high ceilings and natural light
